Rachael Namushi is a versatile performing artist whose journey through the world of acting spans more than two decades. Her artistic story began in the innocence and imagination of Sunday School, where she discovered her voice as a child poet and dramatist. That early fascination with words, character and performance soon found a larger stage in school drama, where she served as President of the Drama Club, before evolving into a deeper and more enduring engagement with professional theatre, television and radio.
Over the years, Rachael has continued to carve her place across Zambia's creative landscape. She featured in ZNBC's *Ulendo* Season 1 as an actress and returned in Season 2, where she took on the dual roles of actress and Assistant Director. She was also part of the Radio 2 cast of the radio drama series *No Way Out*. Her body of work extends beyond these productions to include an appearance in Zambezi Magic's *Fever* Season 1, as well as television and commercial advertisements, road shows, theatrical productions, festivals, adjudication, advocacy campaigns and creative workshops.
For Rachael, acting is far more than performance. It is a language through which humanity speaks to itself. Her passion lies in stories that explore the human condition, bringing difficult conversations, lived experiences and untold perspectives into the light. She believes that through art, voices are amplified, information travels, conversations begin and lives can be touched, challenged and transformed.
